Pets are susceptible to many different diseases and parasites. Protecting your pet is our primary goal, so developing an appropriate vaccine schedule for your pet is important to us. We offer a variety of vaccinations for companion animals, along with equine and livestock.
Vaccinations offered for dogs include DHLPP, Bordetella, Rattlesnake Anti-venom, and Rabies.
The DHLPP vaccine helps build immunity from distemper, parvovirus, canine hepatitis, leptospirosis, and parainfluenza. It is recommended that your dogs receive the DHLPP vaccination once yearly.
The Bordetella vaccine helps prevent kennel cough. We recommend this vaccination for any animals that are boarded, taken to groomers, trainers, or dog parks. For optimum prevention, it is recommended you vaccinate your dogs every six months.
The rattlesnake anti-venom is generally for our patients that live in rural areas where rattlesnakes are often seen. This helps to make a rattlesnake bite less severe, while immediate action will still be needed. This vaccination also needs done every six months.
Vaccinations offered for cats include FVRCP, Felv, and Rabies.
The FVRCP vaccination helps cats build immunity from feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia. It is recommended that your cats receive this vaccination once yearly.
The Felv vaccination helps prevent feline leukemia virus. This is a very common disease that cats can get. For the best prevention, it is recommended cats receive this vaccination once yearly.
The Rabies vaccination is for both dogs and cats. Rabies is a disease that is transmitted from one animal to another. It is required by law that animals have a rabies vaccination. Dogs require this vaccination every 2 years, cats require it every year.
